To prevent Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) and network abuse, our inspection engine enforces strict security filters:
- RFC 1918 private subnets (10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, 192.168.0.0/16) and localhost are strictly blocked.
- Cloud metadata addresses (169.254.169.254) are rejected immediately.
- Maximum redirect limit of 10 hops prevents infinite redirect loops and resource exhaustion attacks.
- Inspection request timeout is capped at 5 seconds to preserve system responsiveness.
