Standard operating agreement and user obligations for the ShortLink platform.
This document provides a template overview of ShortLink’s platform rules. Formal legal terms will be finalized by corporate counsel prior to production launch.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ShortLink (including web applications, public tools, REST APIs, and edge redirect infrastructure), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Permitted Use & Account Responsibility
You agree to use ShortLink solely for lawful purposes. You are responsible for safeguarding your authentication credentials, API tokens, and all links created under your account.
3. API & Service Availability
ShortLink provides edge-distributed redirect processing with automated health monitoring. While we target continuous uptime, services are provided “as is” without implied warranties of non-interruption. We enforce API rate limits (by IP and API key) to protect platform infrastructure from denial-of-service degradation.
4. Link Termination & Moderation
ShortLink maintains an active Trust & Safety system. Any short links found violating our Acceptable Use Policy (such as malware distribution, phishing, or credential harvesting) are subject to immediate suspension, domain blocking, and account termination without prior notice.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by standard SaaS operating standards and applicable jurisdictional commercial law.
